On November 15, Kardemir, a comprehensive long steel producer in Türkiye, announced the new prices of wire rods and profiles. Due to the sluggish demand and the decline in the price of imported scrap steel, the prices decreased. The price adjustment results are as follows:
According to different thicknesses, the ex factory price of IPE-NPUs 160-550mm profiles has been lowered to 875-925 US dollars/ton, while the price of HEA-HEBs 120-500mm profiles is between 850-985 US dollars/ton. The price of profiles has decreased by $50-75 per ton compared to October 26th.
The ex factory price of 6-27mm (SAE1008-1010) grade wire is $630/ton, 5.50mm (SAE1008-1010) grade wire is $650/ton, and 28-56mm (1008-1010) grade wire is $670/ton, a decrease of $25/ton compared to October 26th.
In addition, the ex factory price of its 12-32mm threaded steel is set at 11740 lira/ton (630 US dollars/ton), a decrease of 9 US dollars/ton from November 2nd.
