Features:

A402 is a Cr26Ni21 pure austenitic stainless steel electrode with calcium titanium coating. The deposited metal has excellent oxidation resistance under high temperature conditions of 900~1100℃. It can be used for both AC and DC, and has good welding process performance.

Usage:

It is used for welding the same type of heat-resistant stainless steel working under high temperature conditions. It can also be used for the welding of highly hardenable chromium steel (such as Cr5Mo, Cr9Mo, Cr13, Cr28, etc.) and dissimilar steel.

Precautions:

1. The electrode must be baked at about 300-350℃ for 1 hour before welding.

2. Rust, oil, moisture and other impurities on the weldment must be removed before welding.

3. It is recommended to use a DC power supply. The current should not be too large to avoid redness and cracking of the drug skin.

4. Reduce heat output and the swing range of the welding rod should not be too large.
